Since their first magical meeting in a dimly lit sound studio in the depths of New Jersey in 2005, the pulsing rhythms of Ian Thomas and Chris Brooks on drums and bass, the frantic guitars of Max Michaels and the haunting vocals of Joel Friedrich have grown into a creatively gritty ensemble. Songs like Ghost in the Smoke and Hotel Montreal, the standouts on their EP Blacklight Hospital, come at you with an undeniable pounding force.
