Wandaliz Colon

Wandaliz is the epitome of what an artist should be. She is creative, passionate, a tireless worker, writer, arranger, vocalist, performer and most of all she’s original.

Wandaliz has been performing since the age of four. She was a Barbizon child model as well as a singer and dancer. Her current sound would be considered pop with a rock infusion and topped off with elements of 70’s P-Funk for tasty treat that is easy on the ears.



Her current producer, writing partner and mentor discovered her at a local talent show in Maryland. Wandaliz has an electrifying personality and a true love for the performing arts. Since her discovery Wandaliz has performed mostly on the east coast while honing her writing and arranging skills. Wandaliz has also put her talents to use in acting by performing in local independent films, while taking acting classes with the renowned acting coach Manuel Poblete. Working in music publishing with Ivory Pen Entertainment has given her insight to multiple genres of music. This experience has helped her grow into a true writer of Pop, Rock, R&B, Reggaeton, Latin Pop and Dance music. Her new CD called Multiple Genre Disorder was influenced by her love of multiple styles of music.



Wandaliz music has taken first place at listening parties from Virginia to Philly and her songs have been played in clubs and on internet radio stations as far away as Texas and Germany. DreamWorks has noticed her skills by offering her a publishing deal for her song “Don’t Look Back.” Wandaliz will be stretching her appeal with performances this year to the Midwest. One of Wandaliz goals is to open for known acts up and down the east cost while spending time on other world issues that are close to her heart like Colon and Breast Cancer. Her other passions include helping those with eating disorders overcome their problems. Helping the elderly and one true dream of hers is to perform for those in the service of our country who put their lives on the line every day.



Wandaliz prefers to write songs that everyday people can relate to regardless of the type of music she is writing to. Wandaliz looks to Earth Wind & Fire as a source of inspiration for their ability to write inspirational lyrics to any type of music. Wandaliz also prefers to keep a light heart as well as a bit of humor disguised as anger in her lyrics.
