As one of the most promising faces of today's emerging R&B artists, Vudoo's journey as musician comes as a surprise to many. The native Californian made a reputation as the MIT-graduate-turned-R&B singer-songwriter, choosing to follow his heart as he left behind a career in engineering in favor of the pursuit of music. Armed with only his voice, keyboard and a few self-penned songs, Vudoo went on to compete and win a multitude of underground Hip-Hop/R&B competitions and talent shows in New York. Through the coinciding explosion of online social networking, news of his unique story and music was discovered by audiences everywhere, and quickly sent him full-speed ahead on the road all over the States. Over the years, Vudoo has become a community favorite, bringing his blend of R&B, rock & soul and a riveting showmanship to numerous music festivals, college campuses, & national Asian American showcases like Kollaboration.



Recently, Vudoo has been hard at work writing and recording a large volume of new material, in preparation for the debut of his next album in 2010.
