"West Nile Virus & Rehabilination"
Vagrants On Parade - Pub 340 September 13, 2008, Vancouver BC
West Nile Virus
Where do you come from where do ya go
When you aint got no place of your own
It's been a while since you've had something to eat
Life is hard like the ground under your feet
Walking one foot forward, back foot catch up little limp
You know I am not seeing shit the same way that you know they should be
Gonna get psycho
Never ever even gonna ever let go
I'm losing total control
The only way that I know
People ask my why I ride the way I do
Why I don’t hide the piss and vinegar, poison killing yeah
That’s meant to vent anyway but inward
Outward to the alien exterior, like jet engine energy expelled posterior
Keeping me in peace and free from all sorts of suffering
Moksha’s not far away when channeling this raging Qi
Survived the test
West nile virus
Rehabilination
Lately I've been feeling like walkin' 'round in the valley of the blind
Everything’s broke, backwards, they walk this way two steps behind
All their front doors are crooked and their knobs are kinda square
But the experts aren’t paid enough to care
School systems reflect culture’s wisdom teachers replaced with computer
screens
With dimmers, total control, they work much more efficiently
Learning plans funded by monopolized corporate sponsorships
Helping all us think the same way, the only way that they see fit
And I don't know why, Socialism had to die
I'll never know
And I don't know why Sarxism doesn't thrive
I'll never know
Lies lie over me, a disease from over seas
Cut clean and deep, separate the meat and cheese
See me up off my knees yelling just profanities
There's gotta be a better way to end this fucking tragedy
Blitzkrieg tactics of your economic affairs
Value aggressiveness, apathy, don’t you dare
Think for a second 'bout anything but profit
Laws against ulterior motives, don’t bother think of stoppin’ it
Just think for just one moment
If you had a single chance to make a difference would you change a single thing
How can you say your happy
Eyes shut, hoping, laughing, walking backwards slowly, but surely, dieing
Living, contributing, consuming products of the pseudo-democratic state
Power of the elected nothing compared to the oppressors that we hate
90% of public shares owned by the wealthy top 10, a greedy, proud minority
Proletariat looking like peasants at the bottom of a middle age hierarchy
Don’t value your ideas and ethics of the individual’s prosperity
By definition robbing decent people like you and me
Exploiting less fortunate brothers and sisters overseas
All I see it as is accumulating material wealth through evil deeds
