Volcanoless in Canada’s sound strives to combine precise rhythms and intricate melodies with the appeal and high-paced energy of rock music. Their sonic principle lies in the coordinated triple-guitar assault, where three acoustics play complementary and interweaving melody lines within the rhythmical domain set by drums and bass. This original concept allows Volcanoless’ music to flow across a vast musical spectrum, embracing elements of rock, pop, folk, country, punk and dance.

With an unbroken streak of Saskatchewan sold-out shows, a sold-out debut album w/ 3500 copies independently sold and intensely energetic & passionate performances, Volcanoless dropped their sophomore release The Way Forward on Canada Day 2009. Mixed in Brooklyn, NY by Alex Newport (The Mars Volta, Death Cab for Cutie) and Mastered in Seattle, WA by Troy Glessner (Underoath, Anberlin), the album "never loses focus on making the crowd move" (Quick Before It Melts).

Volcanoless spent the latter part of 2009 touring Eastern Canada, recording at the treatment room in beautiful Montreal, showcasing at CMJ, getting lost and taking deathwish cab rides in NYC, chilling at the Sunset Marquis in Los Angeles and performing at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in November.

In 2008, the band invaded the UK, including performances at Brighton’s Great Escape festival, ‘Club NME’ dates & numerous raucous Bird's Nest post-curfew dance parties. Back in Canada, Volcanoless have showcased at NXNE, CMW, NewMusicWest, S.C.E.N.E., JunoFest & the Western Canadian Music Awards, touring alongside You Say Party! We Say Die!, Plants & Animals, Mother Mother & David Usher. Prepare for the Musical Eruption that is Volcanoless In Canada into the new decade!
