The band Vitaly has been formed during the year 2005 in Florence,Italy by the will of the guitarist Tommy Vitaly. Tommy is the main composer of all the songs and personally plays all of the instruments that are found in their records. By the end of the year 2005, after completing the recording of the first demo cd “THE DARKEST LOVE”, Tommy found himself in the position of having to find a singer to be the voice of his music and to rightfully render his message. The choice immediately fell upon Stefano Senesi, Tommy’s “old buddy”, and who had already teamed up with him in several rock-metal cover bands, where they both used to perform together some time ago. Stefano’s voice was just perfect for the dark-gothic style that Tommy wished to introduce with his new project So, when the year 2005 was just about finished, there came to life “THE DARKEST LOVE”, Vitaly’s first actual production. The Italian critics were quite positive reviewing the demo, and that encouraged Tommy and Stefano that they were on the right track and doing a heck of a good job. That’s why, even before The Darkest Love was completely assimilated by the listeners, Vitaly were back on the job with a new production called “DIVA”. This new demo cd “DIVA” was released last Fall (2006). The critics were even more enthusiastic this time and, to top it all off, there comes a contract with the American label company DA RECORDS.On May 2007 the first official record by Vitaly is out on the market under the title “DIVA” and include all of the songs that Vitaly have written so far.

In 2008 Vitaly leave DA RECORDS and start recording a new cd called "Gothic Erothic",which will be released by Vitaly themselves on August 2008.
