Amelia is one of those people, when songs are not being written… clay is being moulded or a canvas

Without doubt, Amelia is a very highly talented singer/songriter with undoubted and proven pedigree.
Amelia has what has been described as the voice of an angel, striking looks, and the natural abilty to write meaningful and memorable lyrics and effortlessly create very catchy hooks and melodies. Amelia's input has helped sell hundreds of thousands of records in all the corners of the globe on numerous projects. Now settled back home in the UK after spells plying her trade while based in Germany and Spain, Amelia is now following her own star and is in the studio working on her highly anticipated first ever solo album, beautifully fusing many influences with her own quirky twists. In spite of working with and for her older sister, the world renowned soprano Sarah Brightman, Amelia has quietly been developing a musical style all her own. Without a doubt both with, and away from her music, Amelia definately has a very, very interesting story to tell……….

Amelia's performance and song writing credits are vast and varied, whilst as a performer Amelia is also a natural,
featuring heavily on the live and recorded output of the world renowned project "Gregorian" (Sony/Edel).She is also instantly recognizable to millions of loyal fans all over the world , due to her live input for Sarah's sell out world tours and DVD's. During a spell with Warner Music Publishing Germany and working with Frank Peterson (Producer - Andrea Bochelli, Jose Carreras, Enigma, Princessa, Sarah Brightman), Amelia has written all of the Gregorians original lyrics and melodies with poignant, multi country, platinum selling songs like 'Moment of Peace'. She and has penned euro-pop tunes for the Spanish artist, Princessa, whilst adding her creative input to tracks on the US Multi Platinum selling album, Sarah Brightman's - 'Arabian Nights'.
PRESENT
In late November 2008, Amelia made the final but difficult decision to leave the gregorian project as both writer and performer and cut her ties with Peterson and Nemo Studios. This was done expressly for the purpose of focusing 100% on her solo project in a vibe and environment that catered more to her unique talent and sound. She has found her creative center in the UK, stating "Now is the time to be doing this, it just feels right, in fact it has never felt so perfect".She has found her sound as an electro organic tour de force of redemtion and reality that, while remaining highly personal and new, feels wonderfully familiar.
Amelia is currently working with the likes of Dean James (Nitan Sawhney, Natty/Atlantic Records), Glen Scott (Craig
David, Neneh Cherry, Robyn), and the urban legend Subject 13 ( Sony Japan /BMG/ Crammed ) on her yet untitled solo
album which is going to include tracks such as 'Twisted Angel' , 'Automatic ' , 'Innocent Rejection' and 'It's all in your Head' .
