Viocosis

Viocosis was formed out of covers band Forsaken. The Forsaken set list was all covers consisting of anything from Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera to AC/DC, Motorhead, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden etc. The setlist was geared towards biker rallies and rock nights with a heavy edge.
Darren had a collection of songs that were written whilst in a previous band which met a premature end due to the rehearsal room being over a pub. The original songs were gradually phased in and the band split into 2 seperate entities - original band and Slayer tribute Slayar.
4 original songs were recorded and mixed in the Doghouse studio in Dublin and the 'Swathed In Contempt' EP was released in 2005.

The song 'Viocosis' was included on the compilation album 'Intoxicated 4' featuring Irish metal bands released in December 2006 on the Underground Movement record label.
In January 2006 Glen was replaced on guitar by Geezer. Viocosis recorded Sacred Reich's 'The American Way' in January 2007 for inclusion on the 'Thrash and Burn' tribute to thrash compilation. Geezer then left the band and Glen rejoined September 2007. There is currently a pool of 13 songs and we will record a full length album in the near future.

Currently the setlist consists of Disciple, Die By The Sword, Dead Skin Mask, Eyes Of The Insane, Seasons In The Abyss, Mandatory Suicide, Bloodline, South Of Heaven, Behind The Crooked Cross, Raining Blood, Aggressive Perfector, Skeletons Of Society & Angel Of Death.
