are none other than the DJs and Producers
MIKE RED and THOMAS (T.O.M) DETERT.

They can look back on an illustrious and successful career in music,
with sales totalling around 5 million.
MIKE RED got started in the music business back in 1990 as a DJ.
Years later, together with friend and
business partner Thomas Detert,he set up
ACTIVATE music productions.

The pair had their first top 25 chart hit as ACTIVATE in 1995 with Save Me.
In 1997 they came up with the idea to remix their old ACTIVATE song ALARMA
and release it under the newly-founded name of 666.
Further hits followed: DAIBLO, AMOKK, PARADOXX,
D.E.V.I.L. (12 in the UK sales charts), SUPADUPAFLY and POLICIA.
They collected 22 gold and 5 platinum awards as their tracks turned into hits
around the globe.
In 2001, the success story continued with the artist project NOEMI.
JIVE Records had big hits with "In my dreams,Y.O.U. and when angels kiss."
Round about this time they created a new company:

The AIRBASE team has really hit the big time with their VINYLSHAKERZ project.
The remake of the 80s international smash One Night In Bangkok (Murray Head)
has become a regular favourite in clubs around the world and peaked at 26
in the German sales charts.
The follow-up single, CLUB TROPICANA was equally popular and the third one,
a remake of the BONEY M. classic DADDY COOL has gone straight into the top 3
in all the Dance Charts and entered several Sale-Charts around the globe.
Now to complete their success, the VINYLSHAKERZ have recently
released their long awaited Album:
VERY SUPERIOR
We are sure to be hearing a lot more from the AIRBASE crew in the future!
