Vidar Vang

New album, "Sidewalk Silhouettes", to be released February 3rd 2012!
Vidar Vang was born and raised in Bjerkvik, a small town above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. He started to write song in his late teens, and finally released his self-made cellar record "Blue" in 1998. The album was sold at numerous shows around northern Norway. A year later Vidar moved to Oslo, where he quickly made his mark upon the music scene. Performances at by:LARM, the Øya festival, Norwegian Wood and Quart convinced EMI to sign Vidar as a solo artist in 2001."Rodeo", his major label debut was released in September 2002, and was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy the following year. Since then Vidar Vang has released the following albums:
