Versatile

My Story



Versatile is a 16 year old Mc and Singer from South London. He started off singing which at first was just a little talent that he had. As he reached secondary school Versatile began to feel surrounded by musical people. Nearly everybody spat bars in the playground but he notice that nobody sang.



To begin with, Versatile's singing was ridiculed by a certain amount of peers which slightly discouraged him for a period of time. Attending his local youth club he began to talk to another young MC named Jay K. Jay K was willing to help Versatile with his music and allowed him to begin to record tracks using his equipment which ended up swaying a few minds at school.



As the MC's befriended Versatile he began to write his own bars again. When he finally decided to show his experimentation he was once again ridiculed, but this time by a smaller amount of peers. Some of the MC's he had befriended were willing to help him out now. Versatile began making music with his original stage name - VOCALZ



Where It All Changes

The name Versatile kicked in at the end of 07/beginning of 08. He decided the name "Vocalz" sounded cocky and wanted a name which resembled his character more than his original choice of name. So now we are here with the new and improved Mc/Singer/Part-time Designer "Versatile"



Sorry for those who aint heard from me for a while. I aint really made music for THE WHOLE OF THIS YEAR SO FAR. Sounds really bad and i know it. I've been doing other various things and just enjoying life. You may see me back and you may not. To be honest the movements that i see in the scene at the moment I'm not really feeling. The music out at the moment i either can't relate to or it doesn't feel like it has enough soul. That's reason enough for my absence lol. Still to keep everyone happy here are a couple of spoken word videos for you to have a look at.
