Vargathrone

-2001-

In 2001, Varganorth (Negruzco Naturium) started the band MaliceTears with fellow musician Agrathoss. Varganorth remained

with MaliceTears for three years.



-2004-

Deciding in 2004 to create a solo project instead, Varganorth

created the Vargathrone project with the intention for it to be

an anonymous effort.



-2005-

In 2005 the demo Winterkrieg was released, it contained two

instrumental tracks. The choice of the name for the project

reflects both this influence and the desire for anonymity:

Vargathrone means (Wölfentron) or in English (the Throne of

Wolfs). In this name it is about the wolf's kingdom; The Utopian

world of Varganorth.

Musically, Varganorth has progressed from primitive, atmospheric

black metal -with MaliceTears - to classically-influenced

ambient music characterised by dark atmosphere. Varganorth's

music is generally considered to be characterised by hypnotic

sound and secular atmosphere.



-2006-

Verkentscendes is an atmospheric depressive/black metal project

that was created in 2006. This project was directed by

Varganorth and the guitarist from Singur Fiinta/Csejthe,

Strigat. Both wanted to exteriorize the suffering and to make

speak their tortured hearts.



-2007-

Since this time though, Varganorth has focused all his energy

and time on his solo project. The results are a full-length

album Galgein des Leidens. It is a masterpiece of infernal

darkness; one that will bring life into a sometimes mediocre

genre. Varganorth’s intensely powerful black rises from a

country not friendly to popular music, and he is ready to

conquer all those in his path.
