Since Vanessa was a young girl in Oberhausen, she always knew she would be a singer. In 2002, at the age of 16 she began to make her dream come true as she impressed the German audience and the German pop idol jury. Afterwards, she made her first steps in one of the biggest TV shows in Germany. She released her first record "Ride With Me" with support by producers like Dj Tomekk and Luckz. That single sky rocketed to number four on the German single charts! She also was successful with her second single "Fiesta". She continued working with Dj Tomekk, Said and Munix-Production for video-shoots in Miami, Los Angeles, Berlin & East Europe to create the summer anthem "Back to Life / Ey Ey Ey". She also worked with Sweden's own Eric Nova for the ballad "One Single Tear". These songs were in heavy rotation on VIVA & MTV Europe. After a successful year in 2003, Vanessa extensively toured concert halls in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She was the opening act for the Dante Thomas and the Vanilla Ninjas. Opening for these artists allowed Vanessa to gain tremendous stage experience. Vanessa's not just in demand as a singer. She models for labels like "Buffalo-London" & "Broadway". She's been featured in magazines such as "FHM" and "MAXIM". Since her days of impressing jury's on television, Vanessa's been traveling around the world. While working for the German TV Channel "RTL" as a journalist, she worked live from New Zeeland for the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. She has also hosted MTV's "TRL" ,"Streetlife" & "Soul of MTV" (2003 &2004) As an actor, she's having her first experiences with Ben an Dr. Motte in Mira Thils's "Der letzte Bissen" (The Last Bite) Mid 2005, Vanessa came up with her second full length release "Independence" on Freshline Records. This release was more mature, independent and sexier than her debut! East Europe has seemed to be at her feet. The hit "Take me Slow" on which she worked with the Romanian Rap-Star Bitza, has remained in the Top 20 more than 20 weeks. Her talents are also taking her to Poland, Singapore and Taiwan. The Chinese government has also expressed admiration for this young, beautiful singer. In 2006, they invited Vanessa for a "Independence-Tour" and for the "International Music Festival" in Hangzhou. Hundreds of millions are watching her on Chinese television, magazines and on live on stage. After Vanessa entered the hearts of Europe, East Europe and South-Asia, the African-Continent was soon to follow. She's working with the French-African Rap Stars Kôba and Baponga for the single "Gottwisted" which is produced by Randy van Rhennen. In spring 2007 "Gottwisted" will be released in Ghana, Nigeria, Republic Congo, Gabon/Libreville and South Africa. When Vanessa is not touring around the world, she's working on her latest album with old friends, like DJ Tomekk and Rigo Perez. She's also added new producers to her team such as the guys of "So much Style-productions", Jon Marshall (fat jon) and Randy Van Rhennen, which also works with Janet Jackson and Whyclef Jean. The producers are from all over the world which is fitting to Vanessa's to style and vision.
