Values Intact

Well.Values Intact is a 5 pieces band coming from Palermo, Italy. They started to play together in the spring of '03. Since the beginning they played a pissed off straight edge hardcore in the vein of bands like Count Me Out, American Nightmare and Carry On. Their first work -Hope Of Freedom- was edited by the Hungarian Die Hard Collective and after many songs in various compilations, in '05 Goodwill records hooked them for their second effort. -Dear Hometown- is absolutely the full length that speaks about the bands identity in sound and lyrics as well. Other 2 europeans tour (in 2k5 they appeared at Ieperfest too!), and the band entered to studio in late 2k6 for recording its new songs that saw the light with "Here hearts", 7"/mcd edited by indelirium records/eternalis records/nothing to prove records, and with the split cd with their brothers ALONE, out on Hurry Up records!the new songs sign the mathurity of a band that's working hard during these years,playing a lot around Europe sharing the stage with bands like Over My Dead Body, Verse, Another Breath, Strength For A Reason, Hold True, Strength Approach, No More Fear, The Difference, Ingegno, Die, Coloss and many others from the European background.

THE END OF A GREAT CHAPTER!

We started the band in 2003. From our first song, from our first show live we started to build something we will never give up. There are things you can’t write in words because you can’t understand them. After five years we have decided to call it quit. Probably five years are not a big life for a band but during these amazing years we had the best times of our life. Far from all the big scene events we tried to do our best and we loved it.

We think to have done what we were supposed to do and now it’s time to go on. The saddest aspect of the whole thing is that when time slips away you can’t do anything against it. We really loved being part of this strange family. Recordings, tours, friends, songs are all part of our life, and we’ll never forget them! Two simple words to close this chapter….thank you!
