Record reviews from Profane Existence :KULTURKAMPF - TOO COLD TO SMELL THE DEAD: Super raw d-beat punk from upstate New York. Musically a mix between 80's Scandinavian råpunk, AUS-ROTTEN style anarcho punk, and even some old school BLACK FLAG meets DRI thrash thrown in for good measure: angry, catchy songs and tons of pure, raw intensity. The recording and songs are still a bit rough around the edges, but this EP is still quite good and holds promise of potential greatness thing to come.

KULTURKAMPF - EXISTENCE E.P.:

The 2nd 7" from this young band from upstate NY delivers 4 tracks of raw and brutal crusting hardcore. The influences on this 7" are much more varied than on the 1st output, with crunchy CELTIC FROST metal riffs exploding into all out grinding thrash. This really reminds a lot of the late 80s/early '90s crust

demos (AXEGRINDER, GLYINE MAX, A//SOLUTION, HELLBASTARD) where things were innovating rather than the current pool of stagnation we wallow in today.
