Just the girl is the solo expression of Houston Andrews Jr, former lead singer and bassist/guitarist for Blaque Betty and the Austin based band ANDREW. starting out in the hard core punk scene. and transforming into goth and metal scenes. Houston is a true lover of music and meaningful words. feeling trapped as a gay man in all straight bands, in what is traditionally straight genre. Houston created JUST THE GIRL to finally express his feeling of being molested and growing up in a christian family, where he was told he was evil and doom to hell. This eventually lead to several suicide attempts finally working in the music business for a member of the now departed band limpbizkit leading to a nightmare roller coaster ride of sex and drugs which eventually destroyer his 12 year relationship and BlaqueBetty he found himself on the streets with no where to go, these songs are his story.
