Born in Detroit and through the NYC, Hiram Bryantl a/k/a UNIQ, now calls Pine Hills/Orlando FL. his hometown. This poetic prodigy combines real life experience with raw street energy and a strong work ethic to formulate a style that is,in truth , UNIQUE.



Making his debut on the "Hit Squad, Zero Tolerance" album, with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, like EPMD, Redman, Fat Joe and more; UNIQ’s lyrics are clear and precise as the emcees that inspire him. UNIQ has toured the southeast with Dead Prez. He has also shared the bill with many hip-hop heavyweights such as PMD, Kid Capri, Lil’ John and the Eastside Boyz, MOP, The Terror Squad and many others.



While gaining enormous respect from his peers in the music industry, he has managed to create a fan base that is both energetic and enthusiastic to his every move on stage. He is often asked to JUDGE MC battles; otherwise no one else would get the prize money.



’07 is building to be a banner year for UNIQ, signing to the up-and-coming record label, E-Klectrik Music. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his first major solo release, "The Definition." Listeners will get an opportunity to hear the diversity and wide spectrum of UNIQ’s sound, which diversifies for both the Northern and the Southern styles, making him a total package in the music industry. He has truly earned the name UNIQ.
