BIOUnfair Dismissal formed in September of 2005. In the last eleven months, this 90's style skater punk band have come a long way. Their aggressive style of punk has blown audiences away with energetic and fast as fuck performances. It's not uncommon to find the band climbing speaker stacks, jumping into the crowd, or hurtling missiles at unsuspecting punters. In a short time, Unfair Dismissal have gone from playing in their rehearsal room to playing crazy shows at the Hyde Park, main stage @ Metropolis Concert Club Fremantle and packing out all-ages events. After moving 100 copies of their demo in one night, Unfair Dismissal played to a sold out crowd for Revert On The River. The band can be found playing with the likes of Three Days Later, The Kuillotines, Pillar of Hope, and Four Disorder. Ontop of all of this, Unfair Dismissal have been racking up supports with Away From Now (VIC), Illucid (VIC), The Unseen (USA) and there's no sign of slowing down yet.



In March, the band signed to indie label Cartel Music, and since then, have begun pre-production for their debut EP. But, if one release isn't enough, a full-length split release between Four Disorder and Unfair Dismissal, on Beer Fridge Records, is rumoured for mid 2007. X-press magazine wrote April 12, 2006 'Openers Unfair Dismissal were of the Strung Out 'dark side' of mid-'90s punk, complete with flat-knacker speed and disgruntled overtones' . this is just the beginning of what you can expect to hear come launch time.



The band consists of Matty (Vocals and missile launching), Adam (Rhythm Guitar and comic-relief), Nick (Lead Guitar and hair product), Christian (Bass and gutter-filth) and Lonny (Drums and blatant sex appeal).
