Formed in Toronto, Ontario in 2006 Unbelievers is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist Jen Unbe. Since then Unbelievers, rounded out by Cindy Caron (drums), Steve Scott (bass) and Eddie Silver (lead guitar), have been turning out one catchy, hook-laden melodic punk song after another. With an intense live show and an uncanny ability to win over a crowd, Unbelievers turns heads everywhere they go.
During their time together Unbelievers have booked two tours with The Queers and have shared the stage with, among others:The Ataris, Hostage Life, Die Mannequin, The Parlor Mob, The Salads, The Real Deal, The Artist Life, Arkells, The Phenomenauts, The Brains, Off With Their Heads, Useless I.D. The Sainte-Catherines, Subhumans and Guttermouth.
In the summer of 2008, Unbelievers were fortunate enough to spend time at the legendary Sonic Iguana Studios where they worked with producer Joe Queer (The Queers), engineer Phil Hill (Teen Idols) and Mass Giorgini (Screeching Weasel, Squirtgun) on their first full length album. The result, The Guts and The Gory, is a collection of infectious, energetic punk songs which leaves Unbelievers poised to take on the world.
