Introducing Destiny, the quirky-yet-adorable Dubstep/Electro female mc, singer and songwriter, who started off working on the UK Garage circuit at the age of 15 with pioneers such as Matt Jam Lamont, DJ Face, Nathan Lockett (HeadTop) and Frances James.

At just twenty-three years old, the British born Chinese mixed English solo artist has already worked and collaborated with a wide range of acts including Ms. Dynamite, Estelle, Benga, Crazy D (Kiss 100), DVA, DJ Spoony, Skitz, Rodney P, Mark Force/Bugz In The Attic, Dane Bowers, Matt Jam Lamont, L Double, Emma Feline and many more.

Achievements to date include releases on Warner, AM:PM/Universal Records, Mercedes Benz Music and a nomination for Best Unsigned Talent at the Underground Music Awards.

Over the past six years, the manga-tesque MC has been gracing the mic at events all over the world and at home including Glastonbury Festival, Ministry of Sound, Cirque, Amadeus, Turnmills, Corks, Matt Jam Lamont’s Solo Records Kiss Tour…the list goes on. She has also been featured within various music projects by Channel 4, BBC Radio One, 1Xtra and Choice FM. Destiny’s print press has included features in Touch Magazine, ID-Mag, Style Mag, Deuce, DJ Mag and more.

Between 2004 and 2006, Destiny presented her own weekly radio feature on London’s Choice FM alongside Andy B. The feature showcased the best and freshest UK signed and unsigned acts giving exposure to the UK’s rapidly rising level of talent. Guests on her show included Sway and Pyrelli, The Committee, Scandalous Unlimited and Anna Kiss. More recently, Destiny has landed a dubstep feature show on Pyro Radio (www.pyroradio.com) alongside DJs Fresh and Steady entitled “The Dubstep Zone”. Alongside her radio presenting and her music career, Destiny studied at London Metropolitan University (2004 - 2007) and graduated with a first class degree in Music and Media Business Management (BA Hons) in December 2007 also winning the Saunders Harris Prize for “Best Student Academic Achievement” of the course. She was also selected by the university to be an ambassador of the Uni and featured in their national marketing campaign, 2009.

In 2008, Destiny was presented with a prestigious music grant from Arts Council East, England to record her debut Dubstep EP. She is currently in the studio writing and recording with a diverse range of Dubstep/Electro producers and artists including Benga, Kromestar, Bluze, Wonder, Crazy D (Kiss 100), Cotti and Mark Force/Bugz In The Attic. The release date is yet to be confirmed but is estimated to be around early 2010.
