UK77 formed early 2006 and promptly made their live debut in Brixton on 20th February 2006

Primarily UK77 are 100% Punk (Rancid, The Clash, Sex Pistols) but are also heavily influenced by Ska, Reggae

Rock & Roll and even Blues.



Since joining the UK punk scene in 2006 UK77 have gained recognition as being a well established and highly experienced

live act, with well over 100+ gigs from Cambridge to Exeter, from Camden to Manchester, and have also played countless festivals

and support shows including slots with acts such as STIFF LITTLE FINGERS, GBH, THE U.K SUBS

TIME AGAIN, THE BUSINESS, 4ft FINGERS, MENACE, THE STRAWBERRY BLONDES, THE VIBRATORS and many more.



UK77 won Battle of the Bands 2007 and later the same month went into the recording studio and emerged with the bands debut

album .Like Rats on Parole which was released independently by the band on Sewer Rat Records in August 2007.

The debut release has received a fantastic response on the U.K punk scene including great reviews in magazines such as On The Streets

and Distorted Magazine. Album sales have so far reached all across the U.K, the U.S Germany and even Australia.



In October 2007 UK77 were picked up by BBC Radio 1's Mike Davies, who has given the band much appreciated support and regular plays on Radio 1’s Show The Lock Up.

UK77 have received multiple radio Airplays along with great acts such as Joe Strummer, Johnny Cash, Rancid and Anti-Flag.
