Who is Smoke-D:Although the name Smoke D may be new to mainstream fans of hip hop, it certainly rings plenty of bells to true fans of Southern rap music. His deep baritone voice has been featured on UGKs classic hit single Front, Back, Side to Side from the Supertight album and throughout the gold-selling Ridin Dirty album (hes the one who did the unforgettable reports from the Mississippi State Pen that served as the skits that tied the songs on Ridin Dirty together). Smoke is also featured on David Banners gold-selling Mississippi: the Album which debut at No. 9 on the Billboard Pop Charts, or recently on Pimp C’s Pimpalation. Also look for him on upcoming UGK album.
