u-clic is today.

more than retro, more than futuristic.

it's electronic, it's digital, it's organic, it's analogic.

it's a colective idea that takes a consistent and definitive form at live performances.

u-clic is 3 musicians, 1 laptoper, 1 vj, 1 team, u-audience.

u-clic is to listen, to dance, to see, to feel, to be.

u-clic is now.

Established in Thomar (home of the templairs in Portugal), the project started on 2003, founded by Luís Salgado (guitar, synthesizers, vocoder, programmings) and Filipe Confraria (vocals, programmings), who were looking for a new formula to unite the organic, analogic and digitals sounds in music.

During the next 2 years, the band finally achieve their objectives by assembling all their professional backgrounds with brand new projects on sound and visual arts.

This became possible with the collaboration with Homem Bala, the design colective responsible for all the band's image.

For the future, there's now a whole world of endless possibilities to experiment new solutions on music and image. They already reflect that on their performances, where the pop noise, between Kraftwerk and Sonic Youth, is painted in colors of electro/rock/arty/punk (cross out the ones you don't like).
