DJ EROCKALYPZE

California grown turned SLC native Eric Cabrera, also known as DJ EROCKALYPZE of the BumSquad DJz became an essential piece of the ever growing nightlife scene in Salt Lake City and throughout Utah. With multiple years and mixshows under his belt and 13+ years behind the turntables performing for concerts, clubs, producing countless mix cds + mixshows and remixes, his unique turntablist style and performance ability has put him at the forefront as a respected influencer in the scene.
It’s no mistake that EROCKALYPZE has consistently held some of the longest running residencies and a full schedule for years. It’s not only the skills that keeps clients coming back to work with him it’s his positive-charged attitude, professionalism and love for his art and music that shows through in his live shows.
His dance floor arsenal spans all genres with a wealth of musical knowledge from rock, hip hop, electro, indie pop and everything in between. His eclectic versatility in and out of the club has brought him to headline corporate events like The Subaru Freeskiing World Tour, Mountain Sports International and Siege Audio Product Release parties to name a few.
After winning Pepsi’s “Making The Deejay” contest, he was able to deliver his unique blends and style to the masses and thousands of listeners on the highest rated drive time show “Cruise Control” with Kevin Cruise on the number one hip hop station in the state U92 KUUU SLC. From there he was also featured (along side SLC native DJ JUGGY) on the nationally distributed Cornerstone 1200squad Mixtape series and being the first one out of Utah to date.
At the core he’s a passionate DJ and performer that shows through his ultra-clean sets. Mixing and scratching, as well as microphone presence to the crowd. Hard working and never complacent. Continually seeking to show and improve. Always humble, always fresh… EROCKALYPZE
