Michael Tsukerman

Michael Tsukerman was born on the 29th of December 1982 in Poland and moved to Israel with his family when he was seven years old. At that age he already showed huge passion for music - especially music with an electronic touch. Soon he started listening to artists like Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Vangelis & Jan Michelle Jarre…



When he was 13 he discovered Trance music and instantly fell in love, at that age he already started looking for ways to create his own music & unique sounds, so he began experimenting with various programs to produce music on his home pc. Only a few years later his first breakthrough came along when he met the DJ/producer Robert Gitelman. Gitelman heard some of Michael's productions and instantly saw the potential in them. Few months have passed and his first vinyl "Next Exit – The Rise of Nations" was released on the German label Drizzly Records. The track became a big dance floor success reaching the 4th place on the German club charts & supported by big names like Blank & Jones, Cosmic Gate, Flutlicht and many more…



This only increased Michael's passion for EDM and over the next few years Michael produced many tracks, released on different labels and produced remixes for many artists including Yahel ,Brisky & Coleman, Eddie Sender and many more.



In 2007 Michael collaborated with Robert Gitelman and together they released "Memories from the Future" on Adjusted Music. The track turned out to be a major success and was played on Armin van buuren's "A State of trance" weekly radio show. It was also heavily supported by the biggest dj's in the industry like Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Judge Jules, The Thirllseekers and many more. Additionaly the track also appeared on the "Trance Energy 2007" compilation.



Later that year Michael started hosting his own radio show on www.Sense.fm – the show called "The Music Refinery" gave him the opportunity to prove his dj'ing skills to his listeners. His sets are very diverse & unique and they can go from Progressive House - to Techno & to Trance.



Lately, things have been looking even better for him when he signed to the huge label Armada Music. His second release on the label was called "Sivan" – the track made a serious impression on Armin himself and was selected by him to appear on the highly acclaimed compilation "A State Of Trance 2009". Being a part of Armada & ASOT 2009 is by far his greatest achievement to date, but he is not planning to stop there! Michael is constantly working on new productions and remixes, and is always looking to re - invent his own sound & style. At the same time he is producing a more subtle & progressive style under a new alias - "Gofman & Tsukerman" along with his partner - Igal Gofman.
