But, it is not until you hear her mesmerizing vocals, and passionate lyrics that you truly are allowed to experience who Tyna Vargas really is, and are left wanting more, and with a sense of respect for who she is and what she is trying to say.

Born and raised in one of the most culturally diverse places in the world, New York, Tyna grew up listening to an eclectic variety of music. Being of Puerto Rican descent she didn’t stray far from her Latin roots, but also enjoyed hip hop, R&B,

and found a love and interest in reggae music . Her talented writing ability stemmed from a difficult childhood,

and was realized through short stories and poems. At a young age she turned to writing as a form of release and escape from the pain she was enduring.

Her singing ability was later discovered, and she was urged to pursue this hidden talent.

From that point on Tyna continued writing and taking the necessary steps in order to perfect her voice.

As an a new artist entering the reggae/dancehall world, Tyna is proving herself as being a valuable asset to

the music industry, not only gaining local attention, but also international acclaim. Through her music she has been able to provide a different emotion, and energy that has yet to be touched upon in the

reggae genere. With soulful sounds, and relatable lyrics it is easy for anyone to fall in love with her not only as an artist

but as a person as well.
