Since August of 2007, Shamy has been living in Los Angeles to pursue his musical career in addition to acting in film, television, commercial, and voiceover. Already one of the top 100 unsigned artists on Myspace's California Pop list Tyler has been a featured artist on Radio Disney, KIIS FM, Myxer.com, and many teen sites. At age 16, Tyler released his EP "Goin' to LA" produced by Christian Davis of Sly Doggie Productions and the single was featured as myxer.com's "Pick Of the Day" setting a record on the ringtone site-downloaded once every 19 seconds for 24 hours. Recently, Tyler has been writing and recording several new songs for his full length album with established producers and writers in the industry such as Kevin Savigar, Eddie Galan, Mach 1 Music, Lindsay Vinarsky, Will Champlin, Gregory Watton, Michael Raphael, Jeffery David, Adam Kagan, Mysto & Pizzi, The Knocks, Deanna DellaCioppa, Amy Powers, Eric Lumiere, and more. He has also been writing songs for other artists.
