It’s refreshing to encounter a musician who’s heart and soul really is



reflected through their music. It’s the main drive behind Tyler Futrell’s music



and the reason that it exists. It’s apparent in the music biz who is genuine.



Tyler does what purely seems natural to him. With a variety of original



songs outlining the goods and evils in life, loves and lusts, good times with



friends, to solitary moments necessary for self reflection, his lyrics are real.



With influences ranging from blues, rock, folk, to reggae it’s difficult to pin



just one genre to his music.



“I love playing live because it’s a way to spread a small piece of the emotion



that I’ve felt through music, to other people. Every so often I tend to 'get



lost' in music, whether it's in front of people or by myself, and it's an uplifting



experience." He doesn’t mind playing some that people recognize, or even



taking requests, if it’s in his repertoire.
