Reppin Tyler, TX, better known as "Trigger Town" or "TYL", J-Beal started in music as a youngster coming up through school. From freestyling with other students or sports teamates at parties or in the hallways of the local high school, to performing in front of the entire school at pep rallies, J-Beal always was a crowd favorite and showed huge signs of undeniable talent! So in 1997, while in college, J-Beal decided to give his musical dreams and passion his full attention by recording with an up and coming Houston based group called "Freestyle Kingz".
He quickly refined his talents and was signed to B.O.C. Records (Ballin Outta Control www.bocrecords.net ) an independent record label, with partner and CEO of B.O.C Nico "Suave", where he wrote the bulk of the labels songs and for various other artists. In his rise, J-Beal has collaborated with Lil John, Ying Yang Twins, Bone Crusher, Slim Thug, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Michael 5000 Watts, Chamillionaire, DSR (Dirty South Riderz), and S.U.C (Screwed Up Click). He has also been the opening act for the Ghetto Boys, Scareface, UGK and many other acts from Texas. With a huge following in the south J-Beal decided to move to Harlem, NY to put his talents to the test.
In just his first year in the Big Apple, J-Beal has had the opportunity to work with Nas, Trick Daddy, Rough Riders, Busta Rhymes, Trey Songs, TI and the Pimp Squad Click (PSC), Jaime Foxx, DJ Whoo Kid, Baby of Cash Money, The Dipset, along with many other very talented artist! He has also worked along side with some of the hottest producers in the game of such artist as Kanye West, Lloyd Banks, Ludacris, the late Notorious B.I.G., Mariah Carey, P. Diddy, Lil Kim, and Young Jeesey just to name a few!!
With his southern drawl and a lyrical realness that appeals to everyone, J-Beal passes the test by capturing the hearts, minds, and ears of millions by continuously putting out HEAD BANGERS!!!!
