Two Gunslingers



Two Gunslingers record, "Downtown Sound", is a tribute to stripped down spur of the moment music. The album was recorded in three days in June 2006. Much of it was written among this process. The record begins with a quite literal "Soundcheck", it also features an homage to "New Orleans" post Katrina, a tune titled "To Be Your Man" which pays respect to the blues legends, and a vibey rocker about girls who break boys hearts titled, "You're A Loaded Gun". The record was recorded live with drums and guitars, with minimal overdubbing and no editing. What you hear is what was played.
