Don’t make the assumption that GLOK is an ebonic derivative of glock. This assumption only personifies the widespread perception that all West Coast rappers are glorifying violence. G.L.O.K. simply put, is an acronym which stands for Gettin’ Lots of Kake. These California artists are on a path headed straight to the top, with a sound that the West Coast has undoubtedly been missing. Not only will these artists be huge on the left coast, but they also have the potential to be a major factor in the changing culture of the larger mainstream market with universal joints like “PEEPIN’ U” and “SCISSORHANDZ”.



The G.L.O.K. Boyz are linguistic trendsetters, coining the well-known and widely used terms “Turn It Up” and “Turnt Up.” These terms started between friends, and have undeniably spread like wildfire throughout the vocabulary of mainstream artists and fans alike. Although they know that credit is due, the G.L.O.K. Boyz have kept their composure and chosen to take the hit in accomplishment; only imagining how powerful their influence will be once they make a name for themselves, thus always keeping in mind that they make the terms, the terms don’t make them.



Banc Calif is at the helm of the multifaceted team known as the G.L.O.K. Boyz. Born in Los Angeles and raised in South Central, Banc went on to live his adolescent years in Lancaster, Ca. Amidst all the trials and tribulations faced as a youth, Calif demonstrates the resolve of an up and coming star. His style is that of flexibility, “I have no set style, I let the beat speak to me and from there is how I get down.”



Yg B Ez is a multitalented musician from Oakland, Ca with not only the ability to rap, but also sing. He started rapping at the age of 17 with his cousin Dyer Boy and later connected with Banc to join the G.L.O.K. When asked who he idolizes in the rap game, he coolly responds himself, “I feel like I’m the best in my own right and I’m going make sure the world feels the same when it’s all said and done.”



YG Rum aka Rummer, the newest member of the G.L.O.K. Boyz, is presumptuously the most flamboyant of them all. Although born in San Diego, Rum was raised all over California. Self proclaimed beast on the mic, Rummer is ready show the world. “We aint goin nowhere bruh, the G.L.O.K. is here for real… You already know.”



The G.L.O.K. Boyz have created a matchless element to the rap game, from club bangers and street anthems, to songs that the ladies can put on repeat. The G.L.O.K.
