"This is, I believe, Turncoat's sophmore release. Definitely an improvement and a progression from the early demo EP. The bass tone alone sounds monstrous, giving the record a nasty low end under a bright guitar sound. Evoking a style similar to bands like Tear It Up and Cut The Shit, Turncoat take things up a notch by infusing elements of powerviolence and just generally speeding things up. There are moments where I see shades of bands like Deep Wound and Siege, an obvious plus. I cannot wait to see this band live again as I expect it to be absolute mayhem. My only gripe is the fact that I can't understand a single lyric from side to side, and I haven't been supplied with lyrics so I can't comment on the [presumably] delightfully miserable lyrical content" - Miles To Go Fanzine

"If you're not playing melodic hooks on long island, no one gives a shit about you. maybe that's why raging thrash-punk bands like turncoat don't get the time of day and break up before their time. These adolescent trouble makers started out as tricked out, played a lot of great sets to idiots standing around with their arms crossed, and ultimately ended it recently at the rockstar bar. Fortunately for you, they went down swinging and recorded 11 tracks of blitzkrieg hardcore in the vein of antidote, krakdown, and urban waste with phil douglas at the hobo house. turn this on, skate hard, and punch your life in the face; anything less is for suckers." - Drew Alexander (Hardcore Rules Records)
