Onda del porto
Non è un gioco lo tsunami, non è affatto un gioco. Lo tsunami è incazzato. Lo tsunami può uccidere, ti odia, ti vuole nel suo grembo per poi farti crepare tra le sue cosce. Lo tsunami non è cattivo, può diventarlo solo quando giochi con la sua pazienza: a quel punto può far male, molto male. E' una madre senza più figli, senza più sogni. Ti sputa in faccia una realtà lacerante, ti gela col suo sguardo. Lo tsunami non riesce a tenersi tutto dentro, te lo urla in faccia, ti sputa negli occhi per sgrassarteli dalle troppe illusioni. Lo tsunami ti culla tra le fiamme e le spine, nella notte: è l’incubo peggiore. Lo tsunami è la pioggia che picchia sul ferro, ti corrode. Lo tsunami è un acido. Lo tsunami è un vetro rotto. Lo tsunami è lava, scorre tra le vene, brucia l’anima.
Il suono è duro, penetrante, minimalista, roccioso, sporco di rabbia e di inquietudine, pregno della necessità di un nuovo non banale. Chitarre calde e spigolose, a tratti strazianti e logorroiche, massive e dal più lungo respiro; il basso, maltrattato e malmenato, con esplosioni su ritmi infuocati o dilatazioni su frammenti psichedelici; la batteria, l’ ebbrezza di cadere nel vuoto, la virtù di un pugno in faccia, l’onda che ti minaccia.
Erosioni, voli ad alta quota, inni da macchina veloce. Il cantato si sporca, diventa urlato, non cantato, mal cantato, rinnegato.
Le frasi e i testi lasciano il segno, solcano la strada nell'erotismo e nell'accanimento, nella rabbia e nell'inquietudine.
Le vecchie combinazioni diventano nuove combinazioni.
Lo tsunami germoglia nell'inverno del 2003, e quale migliore stagione per un fiore tanto raro da nascere col freddo.
Il demo autoprodotto viene realizzato nell'inverno del 2005, presso il Green Studio di Palestrina (Rm), registrato e mixato da Alex Di Nunzio, che vede la collaborazione di GLC (The Nosebleed Connection), alla voce, in "Vuoto". Proprio con The Nosebleed Connection iniziano i primi concerti nella provincia romana. Gli tsunami aprono la manifestazione sonora "Nel Nome del Rock" che vede tra gli altri comparire sul palco Father Ed, Senser, Narad, Gang, Hospital. Poi "Radiolevano" con Tetes de Bois, Al Mukawama, Moodhula; "Cave In Rock" con 24 Grana, Cut, Marigold e molti altri. Oltre che nei festival, la loro potenza fa vibrare numerosi locali di roma e della provincia.
Sono forti gli apprezzamenti e le lodi. Il demo raccoglie gli agognati frutti grazie alle recensioni comparse sui vari portali di musica stoner, punk e rock in generale: hmp.it,noizeitalia.it, eutk.com, staypunk.it, rockit.it, upside-down.splinder.com e molti altri. Il loro primo cd "URLA NELLA POLVERE", prodotto da Tsunami, registrato e mixato da Andrea Secchi alla Sub Sound Studio di Ciampino (RM) nel novembre 2006, è già una realtà …nel caso ne esista una!

Tsunami is not a game, is not a game at all. Tsunami is pissed off.Tsunami can kill, Tsunami hates you, he wants you in his womb to make you snuff it between his thighs. Tsunami is not bad, he can become wicked only if you play with his patience: at that point he can hurt, he can hurt a lot. He is a mother with no more children, with no more dreams. He spits on your face a piercing reality, he freezes you with his look. Tsunami is not able to keep everything inside himself, he screams in your face, he spits in your eyes to degrease them from too many illusions. During the night Tsunami dandles you between flames and thorns: he is the worst nightmare. Tsunami is the rain which hit on the iron, he corrodes you. Tsunami is an acid. Tsunami is a broken glass. Tsunami is lava, he flows in your veins, he burns the soul.
The sound is hard, incisive, minimalist, rocky, dirty of rage and restlessness, pregnant of the necessity of a not-banal novelty. Hot and testy guitars, at intervals heartrending and logorrheic, massive and with a longer breath; the bass, mistreated and beaten up, with explosions on inflamed rythms or dilations on psychedelic fragments; the drums, the elations to fall on deaf ears, the virtue of a fist in the face, the wave that menaces you.
Erosions,flights at high attitude, hymns of speedy machine. The singing gets dirty,becomes sung out, not sung, bad sung, renegade.
The phrases and the texts leave the mark, they plough the road towards the eroticism, the fury, the rage, the agitation.
Old combinations become new combinations.
The Tsunami springs up in the depths of winter 2003, what better season for the birth of this rare flower come out from the cold.
The self-producted recording tape was realized in winter 2005, at the Green Studio of Palestrina (Rm), recorded and mixed by Alex Di Nunzio, in collaboration with GLC (The Nosebleed Collection), voice in “Vuoto”. Exactly with The Nosebleed Collection started the early concerts in the roman province. The Tsunami opened the sound manifestation “Nel nome del Rock”with the partecipation of artists like Father Ed, Senser, Narad, Gang, Hopital. Then “Radiolevano”with Tetes de Bois, Al Mukawama, Moodhula;
“Cave in Rock” with 24 Grana, Cut, Marigold etc.
Besides in festivals, their power let vibrate many clubs of Rome and province.

Their first album "URLA NELLA POLVERE" produced by Tsunami, recorded and mixed by Andrea Pezzi at Sub Sound Studio, in Ciampino (RM) on November 2006, will be soon on sale.
