T-SPADE(T. SPoradic Automatic DElivery)

In an industry that is suffocated by an overload of copy-cats and clones, T-Spade provides a revitalizing breath of fresh air for the masses. From the moment you hear his first words; you know that you’ve found something special. While the majority of new rappers are content with being the flavor of the month, T-Spade has positioned himself to be one of those unique artists with a universal appeal that crosses all boundaries. With a distinct southern twang, a fiery delivery and intense lyricism, T-Spade is not your run of the mill rapper.

Born Torry Hollimon, T-Spade is no stranger to change. He was born and raised in Arkansas – Just outside of Memphis, Tennessee. At an early age his father accepted a contract to play professional football in Canada, where T-Spade would spend the next 10 years of his life. Moving back and forth between two countries and spending several years in Plano, Texas, T-Spade was able to navigate through the life challenges experienced by many of his peers, by pouring himself into his two life long passions: Music and Football. He aspired to rap like those artists that he respected the most: Run DMC, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, NWA, Scarface and Tupac. By the time that his family settled in Seattle, Washington, T-Spade was not only emerging as a talented Emcee, but he was also considered one of the top football prospects in the country. After accepting a scholarship to play for Washington State University, the world of rap would take a backseat to the world of major college football. T-Spade would go on to become a team captain, a participant in the Rose Bowl, and graduate with a Masters degree. However, the world of music kept calling him.

Before he graduated from Washington State University, T-Spade formed a rap group called Da Savv. They independently recorded and released a single called “Make it Live”, which went on to sell over 20,000 units. This helped to solidify his position not only as one of the most talented rap artists in Seattle, but on the West Coast. During that time period, he had the pleasure of performing with the likes of Wyclef Jean, Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, Kid Capri and many, many more.

In recent years, T-Spade has worked with well known producers such as, Floss P., Mark Sparks, King Al of “Beats How You Want Em”, Tone Capone, 20-Below, Swiff D, Track Addicts, and Nasty Beats to name a few. He has also worked with other recording artist such as, Spice-1, Mistah Fab, Haystak, Kokane, Slim The Mobster of “Aftermath”, 211 of “CTE”, Young Tone of “Young Assassins”, and G-Money as well.

Now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, T-Spade is embarking on his solo career. His very unique life experiences have given him the ability to touch the hearts and souls of so many listeners because their story is his story. He doesn’t fit into a category or a stereotype. You may see him at night club or you may see him with a golf club. Either way, it’s 100 % T-Spade. What you see is what you get. His debut solo album, “ Seatac & Back” was independently recorded and released in January, 2010.
