Tsana is an inspiring and dynamic singer/songwriter from Manchester who began her journey by performing in talent shows, community music festivals and local radio sessions. These experiences helped to develop her unique style. By performing and networking at such events and Live Lounges around Manchester, she made herself known on the scene. More recently, she has performed on main stage as the support act for SWV and Faith Evans at Carling Academy and also for Terry Callier at The Mint lounge. Tsana has shared her soulful songs on BBC Radio Manchester in live sessions, captivated audiences at 'InTheCity' and performed for MTV Base. 'Miss Girlfriend' is a song written by Tsana and produced by Andy Kingslow and Phil Kirby (Mr Scruff). This is a number that connected Manchester audiences to her song writing ability and the reality and cheeky humour of her lyrics. Since then she has gained the support of a number of DJ's and her songs have been played on Manchester radio (Unity Fm, Peace FM) and her latest track 'Lullaby' has been aired by DJ B, Twin B, Ronnie Herel and Ras Kwame on BBC 1xtra.
Always perfecting her art, developing her status in the music world, Tsana's next mission is to work her first downloadable album. Already having collaborated with great producers from Manchester and London she is also working towards releasing her first single, 'I Dislike Your new Girlfriend', later this year.
"I'm very honest when I write songs and I think people can relate to that. STREET SOUL.this is how I would describe my music. Realist lyrics combined with a roots attitude."
