Badmagick

The "unofficial" official Biography / Time line for Truth Reveals.
Truth Reveals started out in 2002 with four original members playing as a cover band in Massachusetts with aspirations of becoming an original band making great music. The oroginal line up was Chris (vocals), Tim (guitar), Michelle (drums) and Brian (bass).
In 2003 the band suffered the death of drummer Michelle. November of that same year a CD was released as a tribute to their fallen member. A 5 song acoustic offering entitled "never broken" under the band name badmagick. After some time off to record and reflect on the loss of their band mate the band gained a new member, john, on drums. John was a natural fit as he was not just a tallented drummer, but a friend of the band.
badmagick continued to perform shows along the east coast of the U.S. performing both cover songs and original music until 2009 (see end of bio for more info on badmagick).
In 2007 badmagick released a second CD of original music called Fallen. A seven song recording of heavy full band music. Shortly after the release badmagick played a show with the succesful metal bands Shadows Fall, A life Once Lost and Skeletonwitch.
In 2009 badmagick started recording and rerecording new and established original songs with Matt B. of Shadows Fall (as a result of the previously mentioned show together). During that time the band changed their name to Truth Reveals. The summer of '09 also saw Truth Reveals as a spotlight artist on 106.9 FM out of Hartford, CT. and recieving regular air play on the Amp radio network to this day. But as is often the case, the band lost their opportinity to release their new material on a new label. Blame the economy, label or band? Pick any of the above, it was most likely a combination of them all and more.
At this time Truth Reveals is in a dormant state. Not broken up and not actively touring. The band members are currently playing in other projects. Some together and some seperate though remaining friends and supporting each others musical endevours.
So in the meantime enjoy some of the music posted on this page and hopefully the not to distant future will bring about some new music as well.
In the meantime you can still catch members of Truth Reveals on the stage. Chris, Tim and John are performing as Badmagick with the addition of bassist, and all around good guy, Bill. They perform on the east coast from New Hampshire to Maryland and as far away as Trinidad. While original bassist Brian is laying down the low end for the band THeCHiCKeNYaRD, an original americana roots rock project.
