Trey Lane

Born in Long Beach, Calif., Trey Lane has spent most of his life building his career in Sioux Falls, SD. While the area may not boast much for a hip hop reputation, Lane is ready to change that.



His most recent album, All Things Considered, hit shelves in December 2009. With four albums now under his belt, Lane is ready to take on the rest of the independent artist world. Between self-booked and promoted tours to consistently writing and recording new music, it’s a wonder Lane ever has a second to rest.



The creative artist takes each opportunity to craft music that uses more than one style of hip-hop. Having influences range from old school Biggie to the newest Jay-Z, Lane clearly knows how to create killer beats and catchy rhymes. Using lyrics based around his own life, it’s easy for listeners in any area to relate to his songs.



Lane has used his hard-working ability to build his name on a purely do-it-yourself mentality. He has shared the stage with artists like The Game, David Banner, Flo Rida, Young Buck, One Be Lo and Murs, to name a few, and his latest single, “Far Away”, is quickly gaining radio airplay on pop stations.



With more and more publicity pushing this Midwest star in to the spotlight, it’s only a matter of time before Trey Lane becomes you’re new favorite artist.
