Trev Lukather, a Los Angeles native that has rock music entrenched in every aspect of him. Having been mentored by his father Steve Lukather, famed guitar player and front man of the Multi Platinum, Grammy-winning band TOTO, Trev has displayed his various talents in a myriad of ways.
He was hired as Lindsay Lohan’s musical director for her debut album tour, “Speak”, at the ripe age of seventeen, Trev’s rock credibility got him the gig to put an edge to her live sound. The album went on to sell four times platinum. Trev has also had the pleasure of touring internationally with TOTO, a tour that would stamp the drive and determination to become a household name himself.
Being endorsed by Ernie Ball/Music Man guitars and strings, Trev was placed on their Warped Tour stage 3 years straight to help build a fan base and expose his music.
In Trev’s touring experience he has shared the stage with Rascall Flatts, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, Jimmy Eat World, Simple Plan and Gwen Stefani.
His next move was to join forces with up-and-coming producer Tommy Henriksen and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm (Atlantic Records). Together the three wrote the song “Love/Hate Heartbreak” for Halestorm’s latest album which debuted at number five on the rock charts, number 40 on Billboard 200.
Tommy and Trev’s chemistry continued, together they recorded an EP of powerful pop rock songs that has connected to thousands all over the world racking up 1,600,000 plays on Myspace.
Trev installed a studio in his home and decided to produce a few songs of his ownTommy jumped on board to mixwhich are the songs you are hearing today.
Many known artists have put time and belief in Trev, Steve Perry (Journey) has even helped produce vocals on some of Trev’s songs. Growing up and being surrounded by the world’s best music artists such as his father Steve Lukather (Toto), Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Steve Perry, Peter Frampton to name a few, Trev knows what it takes to be in the spotlight and deal with the demands of the music world.
