THE START OF ABK RECORDS
The streets wanted REAL plus Gangsta and ABK Records to be together there for they finally gave it to them the day TREE-D was acquitted and released from the pen. Along with the help of BLACK-G of the Bogus Crew and his non-stop networking ABK Records was born. ABK Records is a new but old label that was birthed from a former label called Bogus Crew Records (shout out to the real and dedicated Bogus Crew members) which was owned by TREE-DEUCE and BLACK-G.
With the help of the REAL LUNATICS, MALT LIQOUR CLICK, BLACK PLAGUE, DRAMATIK MEASUREZ, and of course THE BOGUS CREW, Bogus Records put out 2 underground albums through out the Midwest and Dirty South independently without any radio play or distribution! In 2000 Bogus Records put out a compilation album called THE BOGUS CREW/LUNATIC COMPILATION. During this time BLACK-G was in a horrible car accident that landed him on the front page of the newspaper in Marietta, GA. Also at this time TREE-D was still young, therefore, he was in and out of the system. With both CEO�€™s out of touch with society and unable to seriously push the project, it only touched the Midwest and the Dirty Dirty. Unfortunately, Bogus Records put out its last project in 2002 right before TREE DEUCE was incarcerated. The name of the album was THE BOGUS CREW PRESENTS MIDWEST ROAD RAGE. Due to TREE DEUCE being locked down on a 3 year bid still awaiting trial from two separate cases, one stemming from 2001 and one from 2002, BLACK-G pushed The MIDWEST ROADRAGE solo (GHETTO GOLD).
Its a new day at the label as Tree-D raspy voice rips Damn It Feels Good to Be Home and BLACK-G Freaky Thangs .on ITS ALMOST A WRAP!!, the first album off of ABK RECORDZ. With a new backbone, street and inside respect, as well as the Midwest and Dirty South already supporting ABK RECORDZ move, ABK RECORDZ is sure to takeover a major spot in the industry just like they already did with the streets. In just 6 months, ABK has put out iTs first project titled, ABK Records presents THE BOGUS CREW and FAMILY: ITS ALMOST A WRAP VOLUME 1, A MIDWEST AND DIRTY SOUTH CONNECTION. The mixtape is already leaking all over Georgia and soon to completely conquer the Midwest without any outside help or any form of official distribution. This album includes music from GRIPSTA who is currently about to bring the pain to the industry and is also a personal friend of TREE-D and BLACK-G. TREE-D and BLACK-G also have all new material on the new album. MARSHALL ARTS,,,,,,,,,,, is an all-around talented man in the music industry also making a special appearanceS on the record. ROMES FINEST are the youngest up to bat on the album representing Rome, GA. BLACK PLAGUE and DRAMATIK MEASUREZ are two of the Midwest groups out of Maywood and Chicago, IL who have been feeding the underground music scene good music for years. MURC CAMP reppin Bessemer, Al has many underground bangers with more in store. G-BALL is an artist out of GARY, IN that is extra hungry to bring something new to the industry. PROFESSOR ACE IS FAR FROM BEING A RAPPER. He is one of ATLs hottest super producers, that produced more than half of ITS ALMOST A WRAP!! Vol.1 He also drops a verse on 5-THROW A FOREST (Remix) which is in heavy rotation in the streets.
