Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Trazz, (born Peter Johnson) has the hopes and dreams of an entire region often overlooked by the music industry since Rick James dominated the charts, resting firmly on his shoulders. Lucky for them he is more than up to the challenge.



This 80’s baby and Property Music Group signee has caught the attention of industry veterans and clubgoers all over the country with his infectious single “She’s on Fire” featuring Colby O’Donis, but it wasn’t always that way. “Early on we had a lot of doors closed in our face. We were close to signing several times but everyone was looking for a southern act at the time.” It was after those setbacks where he crafted his songwriting approach balancing punch lines and metaphors with infectious uptempo beats.



With his new debut album complete and a joint venture with Phase One Communications to distribute his full length project “I Told You So”, Trazz is closer to making that title a reality.
