2004 MUSIC VIDEO FOR "ADVANTAGE IDIOT"



Transport, based in Modesto, California, formed in 2002 and fused alternative rock, indie rock and electronics creating a lush and multi-layered sound and began with Nathan Penrose, Shane and Jason Rivers, Jeremy Olsen, Matt Cox and Chris Ensley



Transport began by gaining a local following in Modesto, Ca playing area events such as the Turlock Music Festival(2002, 2003 & 2004), X Fest(2003, 2004, 2005), and B93.1's Summerfest (2005) as well as local spots such as Palm Gardens and the Fat Cat. Transport quickly branched out and toured mainly on the West Coast of The U.S. The band released a 4 track self titled demo and in 2003, Transport Won, "Best Alternative Rock Band" by The MAMA Association.



In 2004 Transport released their debut CD, "The Coefficient of Friction", Made a Music Video for the track, "Advantage Idiot" and played to a sold out crowd at The State Theater in their Hometown of Modesto, Ca. The band sold thousands of copies and continued to gain a larger fan base garnering some radio play from radio stations in San Francisco, Sacramento and Los Angeles.



In 2006 the band released, "Sudden Oak Death", a 7 track EP and received great reviews from industry individuals as well as their devoted fans. The band was now playing to bigger crowds as well as performing with better known acts including Everclear, Josh Kelly, Fastball, Live, Vertical Horizon, and many more.



The next year and a half would see a few line-up changes and departures. In September of 2007, Transport would finally come to an end and the band played their final show in Modesto, Ca to a packed all ages crowd.
