::: We are having a performance break during the holidays, so there is so much time to concentrate on composing the new songs. For autumn we have prepared a new setlist, now completely learnt by both two guitars, therefore you will finally taste a brand new song entitled ".And Thoughts Will Be Embraced By Nothingness" and of course, some hits from our debut album. The forecoming months will bring another new song and historically the first cover version of Australian band.
::: We think it would be suitable to inform you how the things and duties were going when we had a performance break in this spring. You shall know our drummer Lukáš succeeded in finishing the magister studies at university and he can finally take care of young metalists attending the secondary schools in subjects of Czech and Civil education, while our bassist Lada was impatiently awaiting and watching the birth of his first baby Honzík (3,4 kg / 50 cm), despite Freds hoping the baby will be named after him:) The only remaining duty is to congratulate both successful men – bandmates and wish them luck and success in their new roles and career.
::: Dear fans, we are deeply sad to announce and express our opinion about terrible event, which happened a few days ago. Libor moucka alias Mogul, our friend and the owner of rock club Šuplík unexpectedly and suddenly passed away. He was the man who watched the birth and forming of Translunaria as well as his own club. After opening this place, we have had some ocassions to play there and have watched together how Translunaria and this club kept changing and developing at the same time. The reality is more painful knowing that this man completely devoted his life to music and to support of young or well-established bands too. We would like to thank him for a chance to get to know each other and also for a chance to observe the intense shaping up of Prerov scene. Let his memory and rock dream lives on! Hopefully, he will be drumming and sending his overwhelming energy to us from the "other" sphere. The show must go on, Libor.
::: In last few days Translunaria made a massive update of all photos that we have in our archive.
::: We came through the AFOD festival quite easy. Finally we were a bit surprised by a low attendance and the lack of interest, so we would like to thank to a few fans who were interested in our performance, also to Miloš of MONSTERNATION for a merch shelter and to the festival crew for inviting us. This weekend was luxurious! We played a gig in Val u Dobrušky where we faced a really small amount of people, but the atmosphere and their interest surpassed the previous week. We actually enjoyed this gig so much and after that some kind of birthday party of our guitarist Kili was following. Alcohol, funny stories and statements engulfed us, we went to sleep at the dawn of a new day, some of us were elated, some of us were tired of hiccup. Where we come, scandal or faux paux is really close to us, so people at an unnamed pub and at the chateau in Rychnov will write a danger notice: TRANSLUNARIA – do not enter! Thanx for an invitation to the band RENEWAL! In a really great mood we were heading to Veselí u Oder. Someone buyed an alcohol, the other mixed alcohol with Semtex energy drink. No wonder I (Fred) brought a few corpses with me. Some of us could hardly play, but we finally managed it. The festival was bit familiar for friends of bands, despite this there were more people than the previous day, the similar atmosphere as well. Thanx for an invitation to the band XERANTHENUM!
::: As it goes, man forgets something because of another thing. Its pretty evident we forgot to inform you about such important news concerning Translunaria and its placing in anti – inquiry Britva. We are extremely happy to announce that we won the first place in "Album of the year" cathegory, but to be fair, we share this place with the band LIVE EVIL because of the same number of votes. It seems to be pretty incredible, but these things just happen. We also dont have to be ashamed of the main cathegory "Album of the year" where we placed the fifth position, thats cool, isnt it?
::: We are really pleased because graphic themes regarding our band have become so familiar that they beautify computer screens, messengers backgrounds what obviously demands a fair amount of enthusiasm. Hopefully, we will be noticed by some textile concern and well finally get as a printed motives for curtains and table cloths.
::: We are really surprised to inform you about a double nomination of Translunaria in Britva journal inquiry, concretely in “Album of the year“ and “Debut album of the year“ category. We are incredibly happy for the shown interest and however the final result comes out, a big thanx for nominations goes to all! Whats makes us unhappier, is the fact that we have to refuse this privilege because of the reasons stated below.
::: We might explain the current situation about the decline of our shows. We know live performances are essential for keeping the band alive, but this spring is reserved for our two members. One has to finish his studies at university and the other one is awaiting a baby. We deeply apologize for decreasing the shows in minimum ( we only play arranged concerts) and also for refusing more than 15 venues, but soemtimes there are more important moments in life than live shows. In autumn we gonna appear on stages with our new guitarist, with brand new songs, but above all, with more than numerous live performances. Show booking is now running, so dont hesitate to write us, please!
::: Well, its been almost a year since we last played on our home ground in Prerov during the promotional gig supporting our debut album and we have to say that this show was really successful. Fair attendance, strong interest in bands and the atmosphere pretty cool. It was also the first time we could have played a song with our new guitarist Kili and he absolutely succeeded. We hope the next shows (not only) in Prerov wont be less successful than this one. Of course, we send a big thanx to Hunter for invitation and cool sound and to Šuplík crew for cooperation.

::: Translunaria is very happy to announce we have found a new guitarist, the searching is finally done!!! We thought about difficulties with finding anyone in our area, but we really succeeded. His name is Tomáš “Kili“ Sušen, comes directly from Prerov and formely played in some local bands of different styles. In these days we are practising and completing the gig stuff and also brand new songs for our performances. On this Saturday you will have the first chance to see Kili at Šuplík club (our hometown club) as a one song tasting before he becames the permanent member of our band and playlist from the beginning of June. We hope he will be happy to play with us and our cooperation will be successful!!!
::: The gig in Rokycany was really great due to a support of friendly bands BEAUTIFUL CAFILLERY, VICTIMS and FEEBLE MINDED. For this kind of space, there were enough people moshing and headbanging,but above all we finally met our good friends, Venca and VICTIMS as to mention the personal one. We also have to point out the most outstanding freak of this eveningthe winner is painted Šatris. Thanx a lot again!!!
::: We have finally managed to complete the merchandise preview, come and see various stuff we have prepared for you! We also would like to point out that a considerable part of these items had been already sold before its official release, so we are having less than half of products in store at the moment. In case you are interested in any items, please read the ordering info properly to avoid needless misunderstandings :).
::: We have enhanced our band by an extra volunteer to set up our gigs little bit quicker than now. We proudly introduce mr. Antihumanoid/slam master who became our stage technician and merch guy. The first gig where you could have seen him, was gig in Opava as mentioned above.
::: The gig in Opava did well due to plenteous attendance, however, as soon as we began to play, we felt that fans were mainly supporting grinding hordes? But we especially thank two excited moshers for endless supporting in front of the stage and of course to the band SACRIST for a nice invitation!
::: The problem with buttons on MySpace profile is finally solved!Now you can click until your death comes!
::: At the last weekend we were travelling to Chomutov where gigs used to be really funny due to glowing funs and big amount of friends above all. We found out that a car heating can also be unreliable and according the fact that some members were drinking during the journey, we strayed from our path in Prague because of a wrong navigation of three members of Translunaria. On the other hand, Chomutov didnt dissapoint us in any way and beside a great gig, Venca in a wig or a club demolition by a bottle of slivovitz, we met Deadlord - a king of Chomutov underground. Thank you, Chomutov, thank you, Venca!!!
