A fine blend between those old and classy American movies, the swing of the Big Bands and the groove of Jamaica Old School tunes, or the Cotton Club rebuilt in Kingston and the Skatalites living it up in 1930's Harlem…

Bio :
The story of Train's Tone began ten years ago: the Tsunami's Band got together after a Skatalites gig. Those twelve musicians, all fired-up, came out with a totally new and exhilarating ska. The band rapidly built up their reputation and soon got on stage with a few emblematic figures of Jamaican music such as the Skatalites, Desmond Dekker, Jim Murple, New York Ska Jazz. Tsunami became Train's Tone (a combo of eight musicians) and released their first album, 'Hot Twelve', in 2005. Their second album, 'Birth Of Hope', which bears the label Patate Records, combines ska with 1940s swing and was pressed in Japan. Following various encounters and gigs (Toots & The Maytals, The Aggrolites, Two Tone Club.), Train's Tone are now coming back with a third album, 'Back On The Rails' (Patate Records) which promises a wilder pitch as well as a return to the band's initial peppy spirit with the combination of both swing and Jamaica Old School themes.
