In 2004, guitarist Tracy Story released 'One Small Step', which was his first solo release. It dusted off and gathered together many old songs and was peppered with a few new ones. It was about half instrumental and half tracks that featured vocals from guests, as well as one track sung by Tracy himself. The bulk of the CD was recorded with a drum machine, but Ryan Astley was kind enough to add live drums to a couple of tracks.

The next project was with the band Blondenfreude, which featured Zoe Pollock of 'Sunshine On A Rainy Day' fame. Unfortunately however, after writing and recording an album, the project was abandoned. Not all was lost. This is where Tracy met bassist and engineer Martin Stansbury.

In 2007, with the help of Martin, Tracy recorded his first instrumental album which was entitled 'Oh Brother!'. While instrumental, there was very much a theme running through the album. It was dedicated to the memory of Tracy's brother Gary, whom he lost in a tragic accident, while working with Blondenfruede and all of the tracks are united in a celebration of his brother's life.

Pleased with the result he had achieved on 'Oh Brother!', the next logical step seemed to be to gig the music. Retaining the services of Martin Stansbury for the bass position and adding local guitar legend Tijrone Rosewall as rhythm and Ian Arnold on drums, the line up was complete.

At the end of 2007, the drum stool was taken over by Billy Bowen and the band continued to gig throughout 2008 and 2009. Near the end of 2009 schedule conflicts brought about a change in the bass department. This job was filled by Rob Jelbert who had filled in for the band on a couple of occasions.

The band is currently writing and will be gigging again the early part of 2010, hopefully with a brand spanking new CD of all new material.   I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
