TOti nació en el norte de México en Torreón, Coahuila, el 22 de Octubre. Desde niña tomó clases de danza ( ballet clásico, jazz y tap), gimnasia olímpica y expresión corporal . A los 8 años, TOti tiene la oportunidad de formar parte del grupo Micro Chips, que había sido fundado por sus hermanos Javier y Daniel , siendo Javier Willy, su Papá, el manager. En 1988 Micro Chips lanza su primer disco “Niños Eléctricos” el cual incluía el éxito radial “Angello” , tema que aún se escucha en las estaciones de radio de México y Estados Unidos, logrando Disco de Oro por ventas de más de 150,000 copias. Micro Chips también tuvo múltiples presentaciones a lo largo de la República Mexicana, Estados Unidos y Guatemala, siempre con llenos totales.
En 1990 los hermanos Willy deciden salir de los Micros y en pocos meses forman el grupo Rock Kids, grabando dos discos e incluyendo en este proyecto a su hermana Barby , la mas pequeña , presentándose en programas de televisión y escenarios de México y Estados Unidos. Cuando termina Rock Kids, TOti intenta llevar una vida como la de cualquier otra chica de su edad en Torreón, pero eso no la hacía feliz.
Lo que ella deseaba era hacer lo que más quería y para lo que nació: seguir en los escenarios cantando. Al cumplir 18 años decide emprender un nuevo rumbo y se va a la Ciudad de México donde tocó muchas puertas, pero no era nada fácil, ya que a pesar de suexperiencia, en esos momentos no sabía por dónde empezar, y lo único que sabía era lo que le apasionaba, seguir cantando, y quería hacerlo ella misma. Después de un año y dos meses , en Enero de 1996 , recibe una llamada telefónica de Daniel su hermano para decirle que estaban buscando una vocalista en el antro que él trabajaba en la Cd. de Monterrey, Nuevo León, y como TOti necesitaba dinero, y no había nada que la detuviera, en ese mismo instante decide irse a Monterrey.
TOti ha estado por 10 años cantando en diferentes bares en ciudades como Torreón, Saltillo, Durango, Chihuahua, Reynosa,Nuevo Laredo, Mc Allen y Laredo, Texas, pero su base siempre fue Monterrey.
A fines del 2003 TOti y Daniel , su hermano , deciden empezar lo que sería el TOtiPrOJeCT como solista. Para empezar, TOti tuvo quedejar su trabajo en Monterrey del cual vivía, pues para ella era más importante cumplir el sueño que llevaba persiguiendo tantos años.
Tras 5 meses de sesiones con compositores en el D.F. y llevando ya varios temas compuestos, se va a Los Angeles, California, a iniciar el trabajo de arreglos y sesiones de grabación para las bases de las canciones con distinguidos músicos. Después de 2 meses de trabajo deja también avanzado el proceso de la grabación de su voz. TOti y Daniel aún no estaban convencidos al 100% del material, así que
TOti regresa a su trabajo en Monterrey y a buscar más gente con quien se sintiera a gusto componiendo , hasta que después de un buen tiempo se siente satisfecha de las nuevas canciones que necesitaba para terminar su grabación en Los Angeles bajo la producción de Daniel.
Durante varias semanas TOti tuvo que viajar de Monterrey a Los Angeles y viceversa constantemente para cumplir con su trabajo los fines de semana y asi poder cubrir sus gastos, al mismo tiempo que continuaba con su proyecto y grabaciones en Los Angeles.
Finalmente TOti termina de grabar su voz para los 10 temas que se incluirían en el disco, de los cuales 7 fueron composiciones que ella misma realizó junto con otros compositores, y 3 que eran propias de otros autores. Ahora TOti tendría que continuar con otra búsqueda porque ella quería estar involucrada absolutamente en todo! , la de encontrar a las personas con quienes se entendiera para trabajar
en la fotografía , diseño de arte y vestuario que ella quería ofrecerle a sus Fans. Mientras , Daniel continuaba con el proceso de producción, mezcla, y masterización de todo lo que habían grabadon; alternándolo con su trabajo como percusionista de Paul Anka.
TOti toda la vida ha creído firmemente que la autenticidad va de la mano del éxito. Siempre ha luchado por todos sus sueños, ha sido perseverante en ellos y es lo que trata de transmitir a sus seguidores.

Fue un largo proceso acompañado de un gran esfuerzo y mucho sacrificio, pero después de todo este trabajo por fin puedes tener el disco en tus manos . TOti was born October 22 in northern México (Torreon, Coahuila). As a little girl she took ballet, jazz and tap dancing lessons. She also participated in floor gymnastic competitions and acting classes. At the age of eight, TOti had the opportunity to join the rock band "Micro Chips". Micro Chips was formed by her older brothers Javier and Daniel and managed by their father Javier Sr. In 1988 Micro Chips first album "Niños Electricos" ("Electric Boys"), was released which featured their hit single "Angello", a song written by Billy Steinberg & TOti. Angello was written specially for a "MENUDO" member in whom at that time also Ricky Martin was part of. Angello is still played on radio stations across México and U.S. "Niños Electricos" was awarded a Gold Record for sales over 150,000 albums. Micro Chips also toured and performed all along México, U.S. and Central America, always with sold out concerts. In 1990, TOti along with her brothers Javier & Daniel started a new journey inviting their youngest family member Barbie and formed "Rock Kids" recording two albums for Polygram Records. Rock Kids performed and appeared on TV shows and Toured México and U.S. When "Rock Kids" disbanded TOti decided to live a normal life like any other teenager in her hometown, but she felt something was missing. What TOti really wanted was to go back performing and singing on stage so when she turned 18 she moved to México. She found starting all over again wasn't easy all by herself. On January 1996, after a year and two months in Mexico, TOti received a call from her brother Daniel inviting her to join his band that needed a lead singer. At that time TOti was experiencing the lean years so she chose to move to Monterrey. TOti has been singing non-stop over the last 10 years in clubs in northern Mexico which cities include Torreón, Saltillo, Durango, Chihuahua, Reynosa, Nuevo Laredo, Mc Allen & Laredo, Texas, being Monterrey her base. At the end of 2003 TOti and her brother Daniel, decided to start what would become the TOtiPrOJeCT, TOti’s solo debut album. In order to keep perusing her dream, she had to put on hold her club singing gig because she wanted to focus full time on her album. After almost 5 months on songwriting sessions with composers in Mexico City, she went to L.A. to work on song selection and arrangements and 2 months later she went back to continue with her singing gig in order to fund her album. Both TOti and Daniel where not 100% convinced about the material so TOti went searching for more co-writing partners whom which she felt comfortable writing. Time after, she felt she had the right stuff and went back and forth between Monterrey and Los Angeles in order to continue the recording and not to loose her singing gig. It took almost 3 years to complete her album which include 10 songs where TOti co-wrote 7 of them and 3 of them from other composers. After the musical part of the album was completed, TOti got also involved in the Album Cover Design, Album Pictures, Clothing because she wanted to give the most of it to her fans that followed TOti’s career after leaving the Micro Chips Band. While TOti was working on all the non-musical part of the album, Daniel continued to mixing the album in between tours playing percussion for Paul Anka. TOti felt that authenticity is a very important part of success. She has fought for her dreams and has been persistent about them and it’s what she wants to share with her fans.
