Loathe has been

around for 8 years and has released a spate of EPs and criss-crossed

the UK repeatedly since then.  2009 saw Loathe record their

debut

full length album, Despondent By Design, due to be released in early

2010.  Loathe has shared stages with a few remarkable bands

such

as Sabbat, Detonation, Let ‘Em Bürn, SLAB,

SevenYearsDead

and K.O.Kaine, apart from local heavyweights SLIT, Beheaded, ItEM and

Abysmal Torment.  

The band plays a fiery brand of metal which fuses elements from the

thrash and hardcore movements with the brutality of contemporary death

metal.  Loathe has been praised extensively in the press. This

The Dark By

Design Tour kicked off on Saturday the 24th of October 2009 and saw

Loathe and SLAB go across the UK in 10 days. During this tour Loathe

was interviewed by Kerrang! Radio.
