Too Late Lucy are a 6-piece, 4th Wave Brass driven Pop-Punk Ska Band from the London area England, Formed in early 2008 (with Ex-members of Dr. 8Ball a UK ska band formed in early 2004, known for their high energy performances, audience interaction, catchy songs, and dedicated following). Having gone their own ways during 2009, their innovation for live performance and catchy hook laden songs have continued to inspire other musicians trying to make their mark in the Music industry.

Their history from the days of Dr. 8Ball covers performances on the internationally acclaimed Roots Festival that took place in North East India in May 2008, where they became the first UK band to perform in the North East and the first UK Unsigned Band to play in India. This provided the band with the chance to perform their material in front of audiences of up to 20,000 people at every show. The Festival was also covered by Myspace India, Rolling Stone Magazine, the New York Times, GQ Magazine and a documentary on the festival was aired on India's Zcafe channel on July 5th. They have performed in many London and South East Venues, including notable performances at the Mean Fiddler Astoria and the Islington Academy. In 2007 they had clocked up 158 performances that year including 2 festivals in a day and 4 gigs within 30 hours. 2007 also saw the band play at the turning on of the Hemel Hempstead Christmas Lights.
Dr. 8Ball were even featured on Canadian and US TV with their hit song 'Cheer Up Goth Kid' which was used on TV programme 'Chris and John to the Rescue'. A strong fanbase and fanclub-'The Ska Army' saw bases pop up across the UK and throughout Europe. The band have amassed legions of stories and tales from their gigging days, becoming folklore in some places.

After a much needed break the majority of the band tested the waters again in the summer of 2011 to a great response, this has led to renewed talks, renewed reminiscing and a renewed spark to get it on again.

To everyone that saw us or supported us across the world, thank you, and don't stop listening, we're back this year- 2012!
