Tone E

Since the age of 2 Tone E (Anthony) has been in studios. Reason being he is the son of bay area underground Dj/Emcee/Producer Dj Ignite. By age 5 Tone E asked his dad if he could get on the mic and lay somethin.In Between sessions Tone E would jump in the booth and practice verses his father wrote and rehearsed with him. Tone E was a natural at feeling the style and learning how to master his voice control .He was blessed to have got the chance to watch many bay area emcees lay vocals at his fathers studio (Crack Or Jack Records) and all around the bay. His First verse was in 1994 at age 5 on his father's group Tha Funxsoujaz album and then on a compolation for Capitol B titled Tha Bumble. Tone E kept hangin out and chillin through out the years and fell in love with Baseball. Now at the age of 18 Tone's still doin that rap thang while keepin a job, so he can get his music out there . He heals his stress by writing verses with his pops and layin down verses. In all for the last year doin about 80 tracks to date on spare time and now takin it seriously to persue finishing a 2 Disc Mixtape. Titled "Chin,Straps&Mouthpieces Vol 1" is in the works now and will hit tha streets by late April or Early May of 08'. so stay on tha look out for that! Now 2010 Tone-E has done a fleet of shows and has developed quite a stage presence and energy. He has ventured on to do music with Ken Estes' label GrandaddyPurp Music . Working on his solo debut which features CVC (Dj Co-V-Co son) now 17 on beats and a few verses along with K-Lou,Heavy Hittaz,and One Dropp Scott adding their touches on slumpers at only 20 Tone-E has stepped it up a few notchesHe is recently featured on two tracks "GDP" featuring J-diggs,Mike Marshall and Dj Ignite and also "Cannabistory" a medical marijuana track on the history of inducing and becoming patients . All in all 2010 is set to kick alot off for Tone-E. stay tuned
