The Tommy Parker Experience

As an artist of great lengths Tommy Parker has cultivated a musical sound that is all familiar yet intriguingly new. With his new and improved Pop sound that embodies a hint of R&B, Tommy Parker has opened a door to a new genre amongst his peers. He exclaims "As a new producer for the power house R.J. Productions(Janet Jackson, Brandy, The Pussycat Dolls), I enjoy making music that has depth and inspires great feelings". Tommy Parker was born a California native and raised in Pittsburgh , Pa from the age of 10. That transition and a family surmounted in music ,is fortunately what helped create this musical genius of the 21st century. "As a child I went to sleep listening to all the greats such as Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, and so many more. These legends inspired me to sing and dance at a very early age". At the tender age of ten, Tommy parker began playing the piano by ear and singing in the Afro-American Music Institutes (A.A.M.I) boys choir.

After beginning piano lessons at the A.A.M.I Tommy Parker's acute sense of music overtly gained much notoriety early on. He would tell those astonished by his gifts " I come from a lineage of musicians on both my mother and father's side, ranging back to their first generation. I guess you can say it's in my genes". This evolving love for music allowed him to begin producing and taking several tours around the tri-state area and Atlanta, Ga, and Milwaukee, Wn, with the A.A.M.I Boys Choir and Jazz Lab. For which his father co-directed. During this time Tommy Parker perfected his voice and gained lots of industry interest for his productions under the professional name T-gunzz.

Embracing this grand exposure, in 2004 at the age 16, Tommy Parker released an independent album entitled, "Stepping Out". The industry buzz that his productions were gaining and the great sound of this debut album landed him a business relationship with Capitol's producer Roy Hamilton ( Micheal Jackson, Brittany Spears, and R.Kelly). Through this relationship Tommy Parker a.k.a. T-Gunzz placed his first song on Capitol's recording artist, Houston's debut album "It's Already Written". Then it was time to return home southern California.

As the momentum grew Tommy parker continued singing around the Los Angeles area while signing with the elite production company "Under Dog" (Dream Girls, Jennifer Hudson,Chris Brown) as a writer in 2007. Within this time Tommy Parker also worked with his production partner Tommy Brown p.k.a Crakk King in Atlanta Ga, where he had several vocal placements on both independent and major albums. Alotting more buzz in the industry and now with his fans. Like the genius he is Tommy Parker took that success and gained popularity both nationally and internationally.

Within these past several years of growth, Tommy Parker has taken command of both his vocal and musical sound. A sound that cunningly triumphs the rest. Currently Tommy Parker a.k.a T-Gunzz along with his partner Tommy Brown a.k.a Crakk King are working on several projects including the likes of Mary J. blidge, Janet Jackson, and Amerie to name a few. As stated by their mentor and business partner Rodney Jerkins; " I love their music, I've been a fan since I first heard it"
