When provided the opportunity to perform, Tomahawk Molly will treat you to a rarely found, almost rustic, atmosphere that is so authentic you wont even know you were searching for it. In a town overflowing with a favor for rock, glam and convention, Tomahawk Molly supplies their listeners with a long overdue dose of melodic genuineness. A show won't pass without guitarist Austin Burge uttering the legendary tale of settlers Evening Yell. Not to be outdone by folklore of yesteryear, their lyrics take you by the hand and give you a bird's-eye-view of the essentials of life, while the music will guide your path so you can experience it for yourself. They ease from full band to acoustic and back again, from toe-tapping to deep thought inducing, with no transitional roughness. Brothers, Daniel and Hunter Hall have recently been added to the mix, and add depth to their live shows. Tomahawk Molly is here to bring good music and story to a place where fashion is the overture for content. Acoustic guitar the way it was meant to be, coupled with a beautiful voice of the purest emotion and distinctive style are the backbones for all that is Tomahawk Molly. It bears noting that you'll come for the music but stay for the stories. -Christy Cherry.

Clothed in the garb of something oddly familiar, Tomahawk Molly's musical sleight-of-hand and machine-like ingenuity produces remarkably honest and provocative tunes. Sarah Jaffe's voice prophesies against the widespread contrivance of modernity's packaged and mass-produced "acts" and the Evening Hollar supports her crafted melodies with unprecedented sublety and maturity. Plus they are really cute.
